The Otakar Kraus Music Trust is dedicated to making a difference to people of all ages with with disabilities or long-term health conditions by ensuring they have access to affordable music therapy, helping to improve their quality of life and wellbeing, through creative and participatory music making. It also uses specialised methods to teach children and young people with disabilities to play a music instrument or sing, and perform in public concerts. It helps over 550 people annually to communicate, concentrate, gain confidence, make friends, and take part with pride in community activities. “OKMT offers a wonderful, supportive space for my child to develop music skills.
