My Story

About us

In the meantime, I can say, I did it! I ran The Big Half marathon, which follows a stunning 13.1 mile/21.1 km closed-road course, starting by London's iconic Tower Bridge, via Canary Wharf and finishing at Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

This year I’m fundraising for APE Media again, a charity I have known well for several years and of which my lovely stepmother Reina Maria is a patron.

Based in East London, APE Media has been helping young people and adults (aged 10 - 25 years) since 2004, including those who face being disadvantaged, whether they’re being excluded from school, dealing with mental health problems, or are involved within the Criminal Justice System.

APE Media provides training in music, radio and film production to these young people, transforming their lives by giving them a sense of purpose and achievement. They are given a chance to learn skills that will increase their self-esteem and communication skills, setting them up to get employment in the fields of media and broadcasting. For more information, please visit www.ape-media.co.uk.

I hope you can help me raise funds for this very worthy cause and might be able to spare some change for them. Every pound helps! I've paid for my entrance to the race, so all donations go straight to them.
